We’ve missed a lot of them, folks, so I thought I’d catch you up on how cats have been celebrated this month. It’s not too late in case you’d like to do something to observe some of these interesting “holidays.” Or mark them on your calendar so you’ll remember to celebrate next year.
September 1 was Ginger Cat Appreciation Day.
September 5, National White Cat Day.
September 9, Tuxie Appreciation Day.
Along with those important reasons to celebrate, September has National Pet Memorial Day, Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet week, Worlds Largest Pet Walk Day, and Maneki-Neko Day (which we focused on Wednesday). Here’s a site to remind you of the October cat holidays.
