People often ask me, “Which of your books is your favorite?”
I have readers say, after reading one of my books, “That was your best one ever.” I’m wondering if you have a favorite or several favorites and which ones they are. Do you adore the Christmas stories? I’ve written four Christmas stories in the Klepto Cat Mystery series—none, so far in the Calico Cat series. The latest Christmas story is “Rags Rocks Christmas.”
Do you like the lighter stories or those that are just a little dark? Maybe you prefer the stories where I include horses—adventures on horseback, such as “Giddy-up, Olivia,” or “The Corral Cat Caper.” Some of you enjoy the woo-woo aspects I add or weave into some of the stories. I have fun writing those. “Mansion of Meows,” for example. I get a little freaked out by my stories of kidnapping and when my favorite people and cats are held hostage.
What about those stories where the cats use their super powers to swim out into the ocean and rescue a child or capture a really bad guy? The stories where Rags teams up with the detective are fun to write and seem to get good reviews. And fans seem to love those tales where there are touching moments and really happy endings.
Do you have favorites among my 75 published cozy mysteries with cats? I’d love to hear/read your preferences.
I just love Book #13 – the one with Marissa, Erin and Rags! I cry every time I read it, which I frequently read!
Cool. Thank you for commenting. That was a good story, wasn’t it???

I enjoy everyone of your books and have ready all of them! However, I do love the heartwarming ones where Rags and Olivia play a role in rescuing a child or an animal, as well as changing/improving someone’s life for the better.
I love those, too. I often get teary while editing/proofing even after having ready the episode several times.
