They say that laughter is good for our health. If you want a healthier lifestyle, why not adopt a cat. I’m sure that if the laughter level in homes could be measured and compared, those homes with cats would register higher than most.
Just last night, we spoke sternly to Lily when she started to dig a claw into our favorite chair. She promptly sat down and raised her eyes toward the ceiling as if to say, “La-la-la-la.” Other times, when we scold her, she gives us her innocent look. “You can’t possibly be referring to me—your precious baby.”
Just look at all the cat videos being shared on the Internet and photos of charming cats in charming poses that are passed around via email. Cat calendars are among the most popular. And I don’t know about you, but I love receiving cards with cats on them and that’s practically all I send out.
Novels involving cats are at an all-time high in popularity. It appears I made an excellent choice in genres when I decided to write novels.
