Read What Her clients Say:
I recently had the opportunity to work with Patricia Fry on marketing my children's Christmas book, "Tinker's Christmas." Patricia is so very good at what she does, is such a good consultant and has given me a wealth of information to assist me in my endeavors. Marketing and promoting my book had become a tremendous burden to me because I was lost as to what I should be doing. I was doing a little bit of everything and not concentrating or following through on any of anything. Patricia helped direct and define a focus for my future efforts. Between Patricia's consultation and Dan Poynter's seminars, the two of them may make a successful writer out of me in spite of my efforts. I just wanted to share my experience with the group in case there are others are there who may need the same type of help. I unequivocally recommend it.
Thank you!
Sande Cropsey

I have finished editing the book and incorporated almost all of your suggestions. I cannot begin to tell you, again, how much I appreciate all of your thoroughness and attention. You have no idea what you have meant to my writing, and I greatly value your wisdom.
You are the most dependable and professional person I have dealt with in ages."

The first agent I contacted looked at my proposal and accepted it. Your assistance on the proposal, no doubt, proved to be invaluable and I am completely grateful. I cannot thank you enough. Your support and feedback made a huge difference.

Qualifications

I have been writing for publication for over 40 years, having contributed hundreds of articles to about 300 different magazines. I'm also the author of 45 books.

As the President of SPAWN (Small Publishers, Artists and Writers Network) and then the Executive Director for several years, I responded regularly to writers' and authors' questions. I present writing seminars and workshops throughout the U.S. having been a guest speaker for the Book Publicists of Southern California; the San Luis Obispo Night Writers; SPAWN Santa Barbara, SPAWN Thousand Oaks and SPAWN Ventura, CA; Pen Women of Southern CA; the San Luis Obispo Book Festival and Barnes and Noble in Honolulu, HI. I participated in the Writer's Digest Largest Writing Workshop in the World at Barnes and Noble in Ventura, CA. I was a presenter at the Much Ado About Books event in Jacksonville, FL and at the National Association of Women Writers in Arlington, TX. I taught an online history writing class through the Writing World Web site. And I headed up SPAWN's first writing program for middle school kids in January of 2004.

In 2006, I was the lead speaker at the SPAN Marketing Conference in San Francisco. I also conducted a workshop at the Northwest Regional Writers Association conference in Seattle; for the Pen Women's Conference in Honolulu; at a book festival and conference in Ventura, California; at the Book Publicists of Southern California meeting in Los Angeles, at the Central Coast Book Festival in San Luis Obispo, California and at the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Conference in Janesville, Wisconsin during this year. The highlight of my speaking tour in 2006 was an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai where I spoke before 800 Toastmasters from throughout the Middle East at District 79's annual convention. I was the first woman ever to be invited to give the keynote address at this popular event. I was the keynote speaker at the 3-day Alaska Writer's Guild Writers' Conference in Anchorage in 2011. See where I am speaking this year on the Appearances pages.
